Placeholder copy that sounds like a board meeting
The Corporate Lorem Generator fills mockups the way standard Lorem Ipsum does, but in fluent management-speak. Rather than Latin it produces sentences packed with synergy, bandwidth, deliverables and value propositions — ideal for making an enterprise dashboard, a pitch deck, or a SaaS landing page look the part before the real copy arrives.
When to use it
The right moment for placeholder text is when you need a realistic-looking design without waiting for final copy. Corporate lorem is particularly well suited to:
- Enterprise software mockups — a dashboard prototype needs KPI labels, metric names, table headers, and sidebar text that sounds like your product, not Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.
- Pitch decks and investor slides — a slide needs to look dense with information for a review. Corporate lorem lets you show the layout and information density without revealing work-in-progress messaging.
- UI component libraries — testing a card or a notification component with placeholder copy that matches the style of the app makes design reviews more realistic than Latin.
- Screen recordings and demos — filler text that sounds plausible makes demos cleaner than obviously fake content.
How it works
The tool keeps three curated word lists — buzzword verbs, adjectives and nouns — plus a set of connector openers. Each sentence is assembled from a simple grammar: a subject (often a connector followed by “we”), a verb, an adjective, a noun, and a randomised tail clause that strings together a few more buzzwords. Because the grammar is fixed but the word choices are random, the output reads like genuine corporate prose while remaining pure filler. Sentences are bundled into paragraphs of varied length.
A seeded pseudo-random source keeps a given amount and unit reproducible until you press Generate, which advances the seed and reshuffles the vocabulary.
The vocabulary behind corporate lorem
Good buzzword filler draws on a recognizable canon of enterprise language. Some representative examples the generator samples from:
Verbs: leverage, synergize, operationalize, incentivize, ideate, disrupt, scale, pivot, action, de-risk
Adjectives: cross-functional, agile, scalable, data-driven, holistic, best-in-class, proactive, strategic, value-added, customer-centric
Nouns: synergy, bandwidth, deliverable, stakeholder, paradigm, ecosystem, value proposition, roadmap, cadence, KPI
Connector openers: Going forward, Net-net, At the end of the day, Circle back on, Moving the needle, Boiling the ocean
The combination produces sentences that feel plausible without meaning anything, which is precisely what good placeholder copy does.
Tips and notes
- Use paragraphs to fill slide notes and body text; use the words unit for short KPI labels and chart titles.
- The live word and character counts under the output help you fit copy into a fixed space.
- The text is plain, so it pastes cleanly into slide tools, design canvases, or HTML.
- It is placeholder content only — swap in your real messaging before publishing or presenting.
